The Harwood Team

Jennifer Harwood - Principal: A chartered accountant and registered company auditor, Jennifer has a Bachelor of Business Degree and a Master of Business Administration.

Jennifer is the Principal of Harwood Chartered Accountants, which she commenced in 1991. Between 2005 and 2009, Jennifer joined the corporate world as a director at Fortunity.

In March 2009, she returned to her first love of looking after businesses on the Central Coast. Jennifer’s focus is small to medium sized business with interests in tax advice, business strategy, auditing and self managed super funds.

Belinda Henson - Senior Manager: In 1997, Belinda completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in accounting at the University of Newcastle. Her specialised subjects included philosophy, urban economics and social and environmental accounting.

While studying, she worked for a franchise organisation, gaining invaluable business insight. Belinda then commenced in public accounting as a graduate in 1998 and is now a chartered accountant, having completed the CA program in 2003.

She has worked with Harwood Chartered Accountants for 7 years and her experience now spans taxation, accounting, auditing, business planning and advice.

Jennifer Barker - Administration: Jenny completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics at the University of Sheffield in England in 1990. After 2 years backpacking she trained as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse and qualified whilst working at Ernst & Young in Liverpool. 

After a brief stint in the commercial sector Jenny returned to Price Waterhouse Coopers where she qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor.

Jenny emigrated to Australia in 2007 and undertakes a varied role at Harwood Chartered Accountants primarily being involved with personal tax returns and accounting.
